Sales PoliciesOur 2009 season was rather small, we kind of took the year off to get our herd numbers back down to a more reasonable level. Our 2010 season should be much bigger! We are breeding 32 does for 2010. Kids should start arriving in late February, with the majority of them coming in April and May. We do not have a formal waiting list. We do post breedings and expected due dates on our Doe Page and do our very best to keep our Sales Page up to date. If you are looking for something special let us know, and keep in touch, especially if it is a buck. We prefer to sell our wethers, and all of our goats in (at least) pairs, unless they are going to an established goat herd. Goats are strongly herd oriented and it is best for their health and well being for them to have the companionship of their own kind. We do not recommend keeping a breeding pair, as they can't be kept together all the time. A doe and wether, two does, or two wethers make a fine starter herd and will keep you entertained for hours with their antics. Please call (919) 596-0984, or email us, maggidans@msn.com for more information and photos. Special consideration may be given to show, 4-H, and FFA homes. We can ship nationwide by air using Delta Pets First, or deliver to the shows we attend or you can pick goats up at the farm. The farm is easy to reach, we are only a few miles off several major interstate highways in central North Carolina. We plan to attend the Florida State Fair Pygmy Goat Show in Tampa, FL in February, the Pygmy Stampede show in early April in Nichols, SC, the York Show in York, PA in late April, the Goatie Mountain Getaway show in Boone, NC in July, the Summer Sizzle Show in Hagerstown, MD in August, the NC State Fair in Raleigh, NC in October and the Festival of Pygmies in Greensboro, NC in November. We will also be at Convention in Hamilton, OH in June.

Bucks For Sale It is our policy to sell only those bucks we would be willing to keep and use in our own herd. This explains why we didn't keep or sell a buck until we had been breeding and improving for nearly 6 years! A good buck brings only pride to his breeder and joy to his owner. Most of our young bucklings, no matter their quality, are castrated at 12 weeks old. I do try to list potential herd sire bucklings, but if you are looking for one please drop us a line so I can keep an eye out for you as our kids develop. We offered limited buck service, call or email for details. Maggidan's
Minis Cirrus Very nice show quality buckling! He is a medium to light caramel with brown breed markings. He is very sweet and should be easy to catch and handle. He is developing nice bone and body capacity, excellent width, and leg angulation. He has a beautiful head and his sire's proud upright carriage. $400.00
Wethers For SaleWethers are castrated males and make the best pets! They never develop the odor or bucky habits that make bucks such poor pets, and they never go into "screaming heat" like so many does. All they really require is love and attention and a proper diet to live long happy lives. All of our wethers are disbudded (will not grow horns), castrated, microchipped, and recorded with the NPGA. They are all priced at $75.00 No wethers for sale at this time.
